My own personal study:
While watching G4TV tonight I took note about the commercials that came on. There were the typical tech, game and movie commercials that you would expect, but there were others prevailant as well.
Most of the commercials were for some form of junk food (by quite a bit). Pizza, chips, candy, snacks etc.
A close #2 was the "phone flirt" lines...800 numbers and cell text messages etc where you pay a fee to talk to females.
A tie for 3rd was between commercials for sexual disfunction and "male enhancement" and Army recruitment.
#4 was for new movies/dvds and video games.
Now there is no doubt that I am the target audience here, I watch the channel more than anything, so here is what I figured out their opinion of me is:
They think I am fat and lazy. No commercials for any activities that involved more than sitting down.
They think I am single and lonely...not only that but they think I am desperate for any form of female contact
They also think I am impotent/and or have problems with my sex life
After realizing this, I became extremely offended and insulted that they should have such an opinion of me...I'm not impotent
oh...I also learned that the Army must be getting really desperate if they are seeking people with the above traits for recruits
