Alright cats, fall in and dig the happenings:
Friday night there's a midnight showing of Evil Dead 2 at some theater in L.A. Not sure which, I'm not the one who will be driving. I remember seeing movie billboards for Army of Darkness years ago when I lived in Chatsworth, even though I didn't know what the movie was about. It should be great seeing...

CBEST ($40), CSET($234), GRE($???), Edu 173 ($800). Getting into a teaching credential program in California sucks ass. I'm starting to feel restless after getting getting my degree. I have to have all this junk above done by January or else I can't apply to UCIs program. If I don't make it, I'll have to find something to do....like finding a school district job or some...

Your sweet words have melted my cold, unbeating zombie heart, nevertheless, I'm hungry and you're living, goodbye sweetheart.
You know, I doubt they'll let me into Disneyland if I look like I am going to stuff myself at the kid buffet, but i'll be like this for halloween weekend.
I used to want to be a radio DJ. unfortunately the closest i've come to that is hanging out with Stryker at the old KROQ studio and trying to figure out if he would want to make out or something.

God yes, you must have that album. She covers "downtown" and cant stay on anything, beat, notes,...it sounds like shes being tickled.
Whenever I don't have anything important to write I end up writing about music.
....As far as I'm concerned, no one likes people who talk alot about music. Especially a bunch of crap that's pretty much unheard of. I guess it comes off as kinda' elitist.
I promise I won't write about music in this entry.

I've got a love/hate relationship with books. I'll stop reading for a couple of months, then go through a book a week for a few. Back and forth, back and forth. I guess it could be worse....

OMG, I know! Both those boys are gonna be spoiled
i posted this on a board in another online community. It was in the "L.A. punk scene" group it was in response to little kids thinking they know everything about anything:
"This board is pretty funny. It reminds me of middle school, when the other kids would ask someone if they were punk. If you said yes, it meant you were a poser of some...

i dated a girl breifly. her comment (im sure she didnt come up with it) on the subject was "punks not dead, but it deserves to die" i thought that was perfect.
my opinion is that everything is dead. there hasnt been any as new as punk was in the 70's since then. alternative, maybe, but even that was about death and deconstruction.
its all been assimilated into by producers and the music "industry"
i just started re-reading "please kill me tonight" great book. prolly my favorite book about early punk and rock n roll

"I believe that when I die I shall rot, and nothing of my ego will survive. I am not young, and I love life. But I should scorn to shiver with terror at the thought of annihilation. Happiness is none the less true happiness because it must come to an end, nor do thought and love lose their value because they are not everlasting. "...

Now that is profoundly EMO, stick to talking about how sick you are or how you have no money.
