Just watched Love and a 45. for about the sixth time. Its really got an excellent soundtrack. And that scene in a texas strip club with the Reverend Horton Heat playing live on stage is a classic.
Anyways. I got my new pair of Hightop black and red Duane Peters today and some other junks thanks to a nice tax return. I wonder if I'll ever lose that sinking feeling I get in my stomache when i spend more than $25 dollars on an article of clothing. . Its not because I'm cheap, its because I'm not used to having money to spend on nicer things.
Oh and you know what makes me feel even sicker? Spending $120 on a fucking passport today!!! how shitty. I guess its alright though as I'll need it if my Dad takes me to Costa Rica for a graduation present. I have no idea what the hell there is to do there, but it will be nice to travel. I'll also need it for a trip to Ireland with my Mom (another graduation present). I've never been off this continent before so it should be an amazing experience. However, i can't shake that sinking feeling of missing work while I'm gone and not earning money.
Yeah, one day it will be nice not to worry so much about it. Till then, looks like I'll have a slight uneasy feeling in the back of my mind that choses to resurface at choice opportunities:
When it rains, it pours
and I'm still feeling sore
that when I have enough
I end up losing more
and this chain won't stop...

Very true.

So Schooley and White Ghost River were both great, but everyone in the band tried to talk to Schooley and he was really kind of a dick to us, which is a drag. I even wanted to buy a shirt and a cd and he blew me off. Not really the best way to get around in this business. The show was really cool regardless. Hung out with Gerald Collier for a long time and shot the shit, he was cool as hell.
