17.
Yeah, so I suck at the whole "updating frequently" thing.
Hella weekend. Between my kid, spring cleaning, Mother's Day, and two overnights at burger hell, it seemed a bit busy. Just got to hold out until Wednesday and I get another day off.
Something new I'm working on with a couple friends/colleagues: Metahuman Press. It's a series of superhero novels and short stories presented serialized just like those flimsy 32 page things you see most supers in. My first issue, Freedom Patton, is already up, with a new story up every single Wednesday.
Why does everyone love Batman: Hush and Superman/Batman so much? And what the hell happened to Jeph Loeb? He used to be a good writer. Yet everyone hates Chuck Austen's run on Uncanny X-Men. It's a little soapy, but than so are the X-Men. Outside of his horrible origin of Nightcrawler, he did a pretty good job in my book. And the fact that he finally made Juggy a good guy gets a thumbs up from me.
I'm reading Star Wars: Labyrinth of Evil right now. Between it, the Grievous comic, and Clone Wars volume 2, I'm really psyched out May 19 at 12:01 a.m. If all the Jedi got to die, at least they have someone as cool as General Grievous to help them along the way.
Now, if I don't update this thing by Thursday, you all have permission to kick me.
