15.
Woops, went a whole week there without updating, and sadly enough only got three comments. Where's the love, y'all?
Seriously, though, I've been busy with projects of late on ye old web site. I'm trying to put together a new superhero fiction page to replace the recently completed Champion City, but have only managed to get started writing the first chapter. I'll be working on some page design over the next day or two.
Plus, I'm working on a script for a new comic project. I actually plan on finishing this one, than seeing if I can find anyone interested in actually drawing the thing for me. If I can't find anywhere to publish it online, I'm thinking about publishing it through Cafe Press. Anyone ever use them before?
Otherwise, not much to report. I really want to see Kung Fu Hustle, but doubt I'll get to it in theatres. I will be attending the earliest possible screening of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It looks like Disney actually stuck to the source material, at least somewhat, this time, and at the very least, the movie seems to carry the very British sense of comedy over well. Or at least, the trailers make me think so.
I've been reading some of last year's "big books" from DC thanks to my local library, and so far I'm vastly underimpressed. Superman/Batman, Jim Lee's Batman: Hush, and Geoff Johns' Flash are all seriously overhyped. More and more, I'm really beginning to hate a lot of DC and Marvel's fare. (Except for Runaways and the new Scorpion in Amazing Fantasy- BUY THESE BOOKS, PEOPLE!)
My library is also letting me relive the first season of Alias. I'd forgotten how good the show used to be. Hopefully, they'll get the Lost DVD as soon as its released too, so I can catch up on the episodes I've missed so far.
I'm finishing off 4 days off of burger hell, as I go back to work in just under 12 hours. So not looking forward to it, but hey, I got to bring home a little money.
Anyone know where I can find cheap copys of Darkstalkers 3 for PS1 or Capcom vs SNK 2 and Street Fighter III for Dreamcast. I'm majorly jonesing for some Capcom fighting and all of my games were stolen a few months back.
That's quite enough ramblings from me. I'll try to update again in less than 7 days.
