My mom's birthday is on the 15th. She's always wanted a Mustang and my dad agreed to it. I spent 6 hours with my parents at a Ford dealership today, helping my mom decide which Mustang to choose. We ended up with a Crimson Red 40th Anniversary Coupe. It has leather seats and a bad ass stereo system. The racing stripes on it make it...

I'm good. I'm not going to sulk over her any longer. Besides, I've got a new girl in my life, and I've never been happier. (^_^)

Wednesday is back to school for all the brats in elementary, junior high, and high school in my area. You know what's funny? I miss school, especially high school. Probably because it was so damn easy back then. No worries in the world (except agonizing over whether or not you passed you history test). The "real world" sucks. Everybody wants your money. All the good...

Yep, I finished To Kill a Mockingbird yesterday. I then started reading Lethal Intent and the Elephant Man. I forgot how much I really love to read.

I need some super dark sunglasses. The sun nearly killed me today. I'm ready for for Fall. At least then I get to wear my long coats and knee high boots without looking like a Houston moron, or melting. tongue

I've got the next two days off and Sam's working the late afternoon/evening both days, so I've got crap to do. Well, I guess I could...

Let's go back in time a bit...

Who were you in high school?

I was a "ghost". Very few people knew and saw me. It's amazing the things you hear when people don't realize you're there. In my former HS, if you weren't in a sport or in an established club, other than Student Council (which I did, but with over 600 members it's hard...

Yesterday afternoon I was taking Odie for his usual morning walk when a kid of about 3 years old started runnung up screaming "DOGGGIE!!!!! DOGGIE!!!". Mind you, Odie is scared to death of kids. So in an attempt to get away from the kid, Odie wrapped himself around my legs with his leash, while trying to get the kid to back off AND trying to...

I went to Taylor. Ahh....Katy. Fun memories.

My dog gave me rope burns on my shin from her leash a couple years ago. I still have a scar from it.

Nice to see some new Houston faces on here. For awhile there was only like 6 of us.

My brother's yorkie died recently too. Poor thing was pretty old - couldn't see or hear. But he was almost like a child to my bro.

They're definitely cute dogs.

Yea I grew up in Katy. I could not wait to leave! My bf now lives off of Fountain View and Westheimer, we are much happier closer to town.
