This weekend is undoubtedly a very somber time for thousands of families across the country. For others it is just another weekend. Now, please don't confuse what I am saying. I am not calling anyone out, or trying to be a dick to anyone about Memorial day.
That being said I would simply like to take this time to ask people to please not thank active, or even retired vets for their service this weekend. Any other time we would greatly appreciate it. Not this weekend though....
I ask that if you are going to thank anyone, then please thank those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. This weekend is for the fallen, for the heroes, for those who didn't come home.
Please keep this in mind during this holiday weekend. Again, I truly appreciate all of you that support me, and others. I hope I didn't offend anyone, I promise that was not my intention.
