Welcoming in another new year has become pretty redundant. When sitting at home and doing laundry seems like a better option than slurring a completely botched and drunken rendition of Auld Lang Syne at a bar with your friends you know you're in trouble.
I'm not one for new year's resolutions. I firmly believe that anything worth doing is worth starting at any time, not just the beginning of the new year however this year I have made a slight change to my former way of thinking and have resolved to do something this year. Instead of being here or going back to AZ for the new year I will make every effort to celebrate New Year's Eve in Time Square. Regardless of what 2007 throws at me, I will be in Times Square for the start of 2008 and that is final.
Anyone care to join me?
