Sorry I've been slow on the updates this week. The first few weeks of a new semester always throw my life into chaos. On top of that, I've had a few projects near completion, and by the time I worked through them, it was already late at night, and all I could think of was laying in a warm room with a beer, or a cup of tea, or both

Tuesday night, the evening of the big snow storm on the east coast, I drove through the snow to pick up M. She's from California, and had never been in such cold weather, let alone seen a blizzard. So I told her since it was her first snow storm she had to spend it in a romatic way. I live on the top floor of my building, and all my rooms have huge bay windows, so I pulled up the shades, we opened a bottle of wine, put on some music, and lay in my bed watching the large snow flakes fall through the dark sky onto the top of evergreen trees.
