what turns the page but a reason
to know the truth thats teasin?
are we just hearded meat?
before the first prewritten beat?
but is it the truth behind a veiled lie
or the truth that was in the core of our conditioned I
what is bought, blagged, hustled, taken or sold in this society?
time, the one comodity we cannot retrieve its mighty,
we sell the very life force of our youth
refuel the thirsty heat..till we long in the tooth
to decorate our lives or lay at anxietys feet chased
more excitment, more fame, more clothes, more taste...
race to the front of the que ...haste haste!
this emptiness we bare,
hardly speak of but know its there
take its hand all quiet and meek
travel across the world scapes to seek
fulfilment in the retina' s view to flight
or another hot body night after night
someone to share with one secrets, ones clouds, ones magical light
controversy, instinctive lust, hold its armour heavy & chain.
we watch the dawn, like a candles beckoning flame...
to take up its fullness & to live untamed
