Yesterday was "get stuff I've wanted to get for a while" day. I started at this awesome beauty supply store that has wigs & wigs & wigs. I got 2 new ones. They are not real hair, but a better quality of synthetic. One is black & one is a cherry/blk mix. I'll post some pix wearing them soon.
Then, it was on to replace the crappy webcam I bought a few weeks ago. It works great...one of the best you can get. It has autofocus, you can zoom in/out while broadcasting, take 8 mgpx pix & great video in HD, you can pan the room, move it up & down, and has cool effects you can apply while camming. It's a fun new toy! I also got a new 5 arm lighting source. It helps when on cam, and I can use it when doing photos as well.
So, finally, last but not least, it was on to Sephora. I got some stuff that was on sale, and some other cool shimmery/sparkly makeup stuff. The main reason I went though was for this...
(I took this pic w/my new webcam b.t.w.)
Fusion Beauty AirGlow airbrush tanner gun w/Glow Fusion tanner. It will definitely pay for itself in a couple of months considering how much tanning beds are these days. And, if you go to a tan salon airbrush tans are like $50-60. I gotta get a tan going before the beach trip w/
Sadista & Marksy end of August. So, I used it earlier today and about an hour ago, and I must say it was totally worth it. I used some of that Natural Glow moisturizer over it to help enhance the tan and get it jumpstarted. I look like I've been in the sun for a few days straight! No streaks or unevenness, or no wrinkle lines around the elbows, knees, and ankles either. It doesn't use a lot of product either. I've used it 2 times, each time going over it a second time, and I still have 3/4 bottle left. The tan lasts for 2 weeks, too, so I'll get about 2 months worth. It's really awesome!
I'm really working hard these days to distribute my energy equally to ev'thing I need to do right now. Most has been paying off debts to get preapproved for the twnhs I'm trying to buy. Hopefully, I'll really get the ball rolling & get it in writing next week. I'm also trying to finish a photoset that I haven't had a lot of free time to work on and trying to earn some extra cash to cover other house expenses. I'm so anxious about the twnhs...I wish I could be moving into it NOW! I'm ready to have a place I can call my own.
Calypso, my guinea pig was sick up until last week. I knew something was wrong when he stopped squeaking at us. He was also losing weight & not eating much. A little TLC & some fresh fruits & veggies did the trick. I was hoping I could make him better w/out having to take him to the vet, and I didn't because he's doing a lot better now. He's pretty much back to normal.
My Murphy & Rudy are doing great, too. Murphy has gradually gotten better & better about not peeing on the floor & furniture since his neutering. And, just as I suspected since Rudy follows ev'thing Murphy does, Rudy has not been doing it either. They are so good and lovable now they pretty much get to sleep on the bed w/me every night. I've been giving them extra positive reinforcement, too, with extra rewards & affection. So, I think they are learning they get more stuff by being so good. They snuggle up right next to me. It's so sweet waking up to them giving me affection, too. It's a positive & happy way to wake up, and I'm so glad they have finally made it easier for me to love them & not be punishing them all of the time. They are happier for that, too!
I guess that's all for now. I have to get some sleep now so I can get up early & make the most of my Friday before the weekend. For Saturday is game night...drinks, fun, & games w/friends to relax after a stressful week!
