The preview show went well last night. Wally, the Head Jesus-in-Charge of Classics really like the show. Good stuff.

I continue to not sleep. And I continue to not get the girl. In point of fact, I continue to not really try to get the girl. I get to the point where I really ought to be asking her to drink some coffee with me some afternoon, and I realize that it's not something I can say out loud at the moment.

I know, I know. It sounds like I'm making a really big deal of nothing here. But the truth is that this is a lot more important than wanting to have a good time with a cute girl. I need to be able to make myself do this, regardless of whether she accepts or not.

I'd really like to have the ability to get into a romantic relationship with someone I don't already have a platonic relationship with. I've never done so, and I think it'd be a good thing for me. I've lost too many friends to breakups.

That having been said, this young woman is fabulous. She's cute, she has a great smile, she's smart (a hot commodity, even in this ivory tower of erudition). But that's really all I know about her. Aside from demographic information, which shall remain unmentioned, to protect the innocent. And me.

Fuck a duck. I need a new drug.
