Been there, done that, sweetie. There's rarely anything that can be said to chase the blahs away... except to remind that you're not alone, you know it will pass... and it helps to take stock of all you have to be thankful for (yeah, the ol count your blessings thing). My dog ran off one year on the fourth. I told my husband to put him in the house but he didn't so my dog jumped fence. Luckily someone was kind enough to hold onto him until we got home that night since we were out of town. Now we take him with us. I absolutely hate people on this holiday. No one ever cleans up their fireworks mess. Like are you fucking kidding? Anyway, I'm just an old ass lmao! HAPPY 4TH!!!

@glass42 there is drywall behind but it's old and needs to be redone, so I am painting over the paneling. That was my thought from the beginning because it's easier and cheaper. It really is nice stuff but it's woodgrain and it's dark and outdated. I need some bright in here!
