Good Morning.
So I went shopping yesterday...I find when I'm feeling a little down a bit of shopping always helps. Though I spent all my money,...and I'm running out of food. Crap.
Anyway, I went to this little suburb shopping area and I first went to Wal_mart , cause I wanted an oil change..but they were all backed up and the dude said it would be a four hour wait. That was the first thing to piss me off. FOUR HOURS! There were only four cars ahead of me! By myself I could have had all the work done they had waiting in less than two. They had at least 3 people that I saw.....some people. Then I go inside because I need pants and stuff....they have the crapiest crap that you've ever seen, plus the store looks like crap, and the employees remind me of a "I'm trapped in Georgia and the Hicks are after me..." type movie. So I buy a few things...and run.
Now across the street, just across the street mind you, is Target...Target Greatland to be exact. I go inside, and it's like night and day. The employees are friendly, they have everything I'm looking for, and I don't feel like I'm shopping a two-bit flea market.
How can two stores that serve the same clientel, carry the same merchandise, and are located within less than an eight of a mile of each other be so different? I wonder...needless to say I spent way too much money at Target. I got cool pants though...and detergen to wash them with.
That is my rant....

PS This was not my first time in a wal-mart...I acctually worked at one for two years...I was just amazed at the disparity between the two stores in this area.

The only thing I use Walmart for is their parking lots. They allow RV's and cross-country roadtrippers to camp in their parking lots for free, as long as nobody messes on their pavement.
Of course, I then drive to Target for O.J. in the morning..and to use the bathroom.
