So my friends have finished their move north! I am so excited...I don't have to drive 20 minutes to see them anymore. THIS CALLS FOR A TRIP TO NEO. Tonight we may all go to a movie, which should rock.
My parents are coming to visit this weekend, which means I have to clean until the place is spotless. Since I woke up sick this morning, I really don't feel like it. (But I worked out last night...what the hell? Is my body on strike or something?)
Yesterday we had to go to this super-boring Day of Rememberance thing about Japanese people who were in concentration camps in the U.S. during WWII. I was so pissed off about my professor insisting on infiltrating part of my weekend that I was really angry about having to go. But I went anyway, and some of my Japanese friends were there! So that was a happy surprise. Plus, I think I would have probably failed the class had I not gone, considering we have so many assignments about that (not to mention the assignments about the old guy that came to speak in class, who was also there, and kept telling us to ask questions...that was pretty funny). I finally signed up for classes next quarter, too. Still Special Topics in Japanese, but this time it's about Japan during WWII. I'm not thrilled about the class for a number of reasons, but it should be okay.
