Every year, my dad and I have plans to visit one country or location where English is the official language. This year we spent a week in London, England. This March we're headed to Vancouver, British Columbia. (I've never been to Canada before. Isn't that weird?) Year after that we're probably going to Ireland.
So I made a list of places which have English as the official language, took out all of the African ones (my dad isn't all that interested in going to Africa...I think he might nix India too) and lo and behold, there are 30 places on there!
I guess we'll be visiting a country a year until he's 80!

You should really check out Tofino, or the Pacific Rim National Park on Vancouver Island. It is worth the drive. Or at least Salt Spring Island or the other Gulf Islands.
