Mothers day was an interesting one- my cousin and his wife invited us out for some thai food. it was me , my cousin , his wife, their son, my dad and me mum. the food was good and we were all having a good time until it was time to go. my cousin was outside with his son and my dad - they were chatting and the chat kinda turned into a little arguement that I ended up getting into - it ended up with my cousin and I screaming at each other a lot of mean shit being said, me in tears while driving my folks home and my cousin feeling like shit for what happened. he had his eyes opened by his son who is 3 while he was taking him out of his car seat. his son was all like * Daddy u need to say sorry for fighting* his wife called later on to see what actually happened since she and my mom kinda walked right into the middle of it - she grabbed her son and took him to the car so he didn't have to witness anymore of the arguement. this is the first time my cousin and I have ever got into a fight.
so I ended up at my parents house in tears . my dad helped calm me down as well as my mom since I was starting to hyperventilate- I tend to do that when I'm really pissed - they didn't want it to lead to me having an asthma attack since I was pretty angry- don't want to get into all the details of what was said or how things started - I was able to calm down a little which was good since my dad had some shit to tell me.
my dad has been having some little falls, dizzy spells and a lot of pain in his righ shoulder that had lead to some chest pain . his hand has also been swelling up. we thought the hand swelling could have been due to some the same issues he had after his prostate cancer. can't remember which of his legs is a bit larger then the other but one is- it was collecting some fluid which had to be drained. my dad ends up telling me that there is a cancer spot on his spine and he was going to be talking to his doctor about what kind of radiation treatments he will be having. not only did I find this out - I found out that they found the spot last month.
my dad has gone through skin cancer, prostate cancer and had to have some other shit removed from his groin area that was due to the prostate cancer - now this. he also went through his mom dying from cancer as well as his older brother. his treatments start on thurs. they will be 5 days a week for 5 weeks. the treatment will take 5-10 mins .
I'm feeling a little stressed out and worried since he just turned 78 on the 10th. my cousin felt like a huge asshole when he heard the news since he got into the huge fight with me da the day before he was going to find out about the treatments.
things got resolved last night when he came over to have a little peace pipe session. well more like a bong session. he had his and we had our 2 footer going. I felt so bad since he had tears in his eyes and was feeling like a total fuck up . but hey nobody is perfect and we all have our little blow ups. this was a first for us and having your 3 yr old tell u that u need to say sorry for fighting can be rough.
