I made vegan East Coast Coffee Cake from Vegan Brunch last week... one vegan, one vegan + gluten free for my sister. Personally, I think the recipe needed more than 1/3 of a cup of sugar... but other than needing a little sweetness it was pretty damn good.
Another cupcake addition to my Miss Cupcake collection! Now all I'm missing is the Mint Olive and the Toofy chase.
We headed for Williamsburg on Sunday in search of more cupcakes, and stopped at (surprise) a tiny pink place named Cupcakeland. It was okay, nothing spectacular. It was sorta weird to get a mouthful of cream cheese frosting with chocolate cake when I was expecting vanilla buttercream... Not bad, just odd.
As a side note, IT NEEDS TO RAIN ASAP. i'm over this "humid new york summer" bullshit.
