I've hit rock bottom. I stood outside, dressed up as the Statue of Liberty, holding up a sign to advertise a tax place. The last hour, it rained and I stood out there like a dumb ass, not knowing that I could have gone inside. Oh well. I had to drive my scooter home in it anyway. On the plus side, I listened to my iPod the whole time and didn't have to talk to anybody. I'd do it again, especially since I know that I get paid to do nothing if it rains.
Today I put $3.36 worth of gas in my scooter...A new record, but my tank was absolutely empty. There was probably a centimeter of gas at the bottom.

Since the dairy industry directly supports the veal industry, there really is no such thing as 'humane' diary products. It can be very expensive to go vegan but only if you are trying to "recreate" your animal product foods. Simply vegan fare is yummy and quite cheap really. And so much healthy for you! If you ever want tips or help just let me know.
One of my main reasons for being vegan is an environmental one too.
I would love to get a scooter. Most of my car usage is short trips to the local shops and post office so that would be a great way to cut back!
