Yesterday, I was leaving my apartment to go to class when Jason came out with a handful of change. I was like "Why are you giving me this?" and he said it was so I could call him if I needed to. After class, I saw that my scooter was at about a quarter tank of gas, so I marched into a gas station like the bad ass I am with this handful of change. "I need erm...", I said counting the change, " Two dollars and seven cents worth of gas, but I probably won't need it all." and strutted out to fill my tank. When there was absolutely no more room for gas in my tank, there was about 20 cents left over. I though "HA!" and left. A couple miles down the road, I realized that 20 cents probably was more than enough to get me home. I've driven about 300 miles and have spent less than 10 dollars. Now every time I get change at the store, I'm like "GAS MONEY!" I'll probably never have to pay for gas again with dollar bills or debit cards ever again.
Change has literally changed my life!

Back to the change when we were married we did it every day for over a year. When I lost my job, we went into the jar and wrapped enough change to pay the rent. The rent was a lot cheaper back then I think it was 140 a month. But we had enough for at least one month. Also during that summer there was a penny shortage, and the local ice cream stand was offering a free sundae for 10 dollars worth of pennies, had a few that summer.
