I had it out with my bank the other day. For years they had been crediting my annual credit card fee as I have my corporate account with them and as a courtesy they would give me the credit. This year they put the fee in before the annual date which caused the card to go over the limit. I called and talked to people in the Phillipines and got nowhere. Then I called my bank and got a real live person in the US, who said that there was nothing they could do. I said fine, we are talking about 90 dollars here with the overlimit fee, I said that they made a bad decision as I have my corporate account there. That did not seem to sink in, she said my corporation has nothing to do with my personal account. I said that is what I wanted to hear. Close the credit card account and good luck trying to collect as I have no paycheck or assets you can attach.
I called a friend who is a VP at the bank and he is scrambling to make someone listen. I gave him the account number of my new corporate account in a local bank, I guess they want my 200 to 400 K a year of corporate business more than Chase.
