I have had it today. I bought a new sofa last month from JC Penney catalog. It said delivery in 4 to 6 weeks and they would contact me 7 to 14 days prior to delivery as it was coming from North Carolina and shipping would be over 150 bucks. I placed the order and 2 days later they told me it was being delivered in 2 days between 7 and 9 AM. The delivery was a little after 7 in the morning and went fine but I was thinking you charged me for shipping from North Carolina and you shipped it from Philadelphia a big difference in shipping.
Today I called and was give the run around by the catalog department and then of course the shipper who I finally hung up on. I called back and got a real snotty bitch at Pennys catalog but she did give me the number of corporate complaints and it is not a toll free number which stops some people from calling. She also dared me to call as it won't change a thing.
I got a real nice person at corporate and she was stunned by the attitude I got. I said OK, we can do this one or two ways, I could have had the item shipped to the store for no charge and picked it up myself and I want a full refund of the shipping or they can come an get it. Since it will cost them money to get it, and then they have used furniture on their hands I do not think that will fly with them as I will also get a full refund of all the charges as there is no way I am paying them a dime.
I am supposed to get a call from the manager of JC Penney catalog center where the item was shipped from, and I know she will call, but I am not holding my breath. I will just tell them to come an get it unless I get satisfied.
This afternoon I got a call from the manager of the facility that handled my order. In less than 2 minutes she gave me a refund of all the shipping and then got to the root of the problem, the website and the attitude her employees took toward me. I gave her word for word the last conversation that caused me to go postal. I hope that person finds a good job soon.

my buddy had one and also had no issues.
right before i bought mine, another friend said he had a bunch of problems with his screen.
then a few months in i started having the same issues.
go figure..
