I really like the people I work with, but the hours on my feet are killing me. It is getting better, after some shifts I get home, get the shoes off and after an hour on the sofa with the feet up they are fine, but all those years sitting at a desk is taking its toll.
I work in the electronics department right across from the toy department and in our idle time we have to straigten out the shelves. If this one fucking doll falls over one more time I will either, buy it, super glue it, or hide it behind something else big in toys so I wont have to set it up again. I also have problems with mothers telling their kids it is OK to throw stuff on the floor as they have people to do that. I want to come over to your house and see how long me throwing your stuff on the floor would be tolerated.
I work tonight and it will be brutal. The last night I closed we got out a little short of 1 AM, or 3 hours after the doors closed. We were short staffed all night long and the straigtening out of the shelves took forever.
I have to decide what I am going to eat before going, it will probably be something quick.
My favorite waitress stopped by yesterday with her one year old son. She bought a digital camera and went home and took some pictures. She told me that I picked the right camera as she is electronically challenged, I almost laughed when she said it as so many people by all the bells and whistles on items not even knowing what they are or how to use them

You're right about letting go. I saved two broken pieces of glass from the headlight, a mysterious piece of black plastic, and a single shard of the red fairing. They're going into a memorial artwork. Other than that - it's gone. Keeping it would've been like keeping a rotting carcass. Life goes on, and it had to go.
