Ok, another week has passed, I am still suffering the aftereffects of that flu/cold, it will be 4 weeks on Monday. My business sucks, but since I am an ebay powerseller, when people try to play games or scam me I get the better of them. They can bad mouth me all they want, but I know all their tricks, swapping one item for another, and then sending it for a refund. Sorry, all items are not returnable. Sending items back not in accordance with paypal rules, sorry, you lose every time.
I am pissed off today, have been for a few days. I have some new names for paypal, as no pal of mine would ever treat me that way, payscum, feewhore, ebayamoney, profitsucker to name a few.
I love the people that say well the item is $300 wholesale but you will sell it to me for less. Let's think about that, if I can and often do wholesale an item, I will not sell it for less retail. If I sell it on ebay the listing fee is about $5, the final auction value fee is $11 and then the payscum fee is $9 or more, so if I sell it at dealer wholesale on ebay I lose $25, they do not understand the concept of the fee structure and I am trying not to lose money.
I am waiting for my friend to call, we will figure out where we are going for dinner and then make plans for the night. The last time I typed that, in the middle of the sentence she called, no such luck this time.
The weather here is cold, I have had enough cold thank you, God you may turn on the Spring showers.
I have to drive an hour to see a friend tomorrow morning, and with the price of gas, he should just mail me the money. Oh well.
I did have a real neat piece of jewelry. It was a 14 kt gold lightning bolt, made for Elvis who gave them out to his friends and hangers on in the early 70's on his comeback tour. The one I had, was presented to a friend on stage at the International, now it is the Hilton, in the early 70's. He gave it to another friend of mine many years later a huge Elvis fan. My friend is out of work and is behind on his bills. I sold it to a coin/jewelry dealer in New York for him, along with a letter by the jeweler who made it, and letters from both of the previous owners. You can buy a replica, one cast from the original design for $500, the one I sold went for more than that, because it was owned by the King.
