I guess my creative writing was a bust again, oh well. I finally got a decent nights rest, spent almost 10 hours in bed. I feel much better, and decided to take the day off, just rest today.
I watched The Amazing Race with the team from Littleton at a pizza place last night, and when they won the latest leg the place went crazy. After the first leg, I thought they would be gone quickly, and the second and third ones they seemed to just get by. But they can read maps and do communicate well. I cannot believe that no one else on that race can read a map. If I was to get on the race, I think I would do well, I speak enough of a variety of languages to get directions, can read maps pretty well, I guess the map reading course I had when I was in the Army helped, reading terrain and shooting azmuths etc.
My friend can drive, not fast but safe so we could get around and be places where we should be, not like most of the teams that struggle going from point A to point B.
I sent Survivor and Amazing race emails with suggestions, but so far no answer.
I am headed out to dinner to see Michele, she works at IHOP and is in the late stages of her pregnancy. We are friends, and she loves to read and I will give her my latest Lawrence Sanders book that I just finished. I got her hooked on him.
