ok, after thinking about, i've found some movies from germany, which are not bad...
"das Boot" (the boat)
"lola rennt" (run lola run)
"stalingrad" (?)
"der blaue engel" (the blue angel)

yesterday my young brother called me. it was just a "bye"- call, because today he's going to the german navy for 8 (!!!) years.
i don't know really what i think about this... i was in the german air force for 4 years (lol ok, i was fired after 4 month
after they realized that i was addicted to drugs) and the whole german army- crap isn't really as hard as the us one...
but looking in the future there will change some things. the german government will change this autumn and the new wannabe- councellor is very close to condoleezza and georgie and i think the "bundeswehr" will be more involved in international affairs.
when my brother was born i was the young boy which had to take care of him, change his nappys (is this the right word?), feed him etc.
it's a bit wired to see him grew up to a young man. and now he goes to the army for such a long time.
