I've been back to 16/8 intermittent fasting for a few days now. I've gotten less lean over the past year of being off of it, after being on it for seven years before that. It makes me so much more clear-headed, feel exponentially better, and keeps me leaner. Also, mornings are so easy with it. I look forward to leaning out, and increased productivity; especially during the morning hours. I plan on logging this a bit. I recently checked in on the scientific IF literature, and it has expanded considerably in the past year. I may delve into it a bit if anyone has any interest. It seems my observations of using it combined with resistance training have gained some recent support in the literature.
