I have an awful tendency to hide out for days or weeks on end. I think I need my med's back!!

So I went to a "punk" show Saturday nite... the first in MANY years. It's kind of funny to see how I've changed and how I haven't... also how many of the familiar faces HAVEN'T changed, which is both nice and sad.

I inadvertantly violated the black-code by wearing a bright pink shirt and a tweed granny-coat instead of the ever-fashionable hoodie... (and yes, I have a few that I used to live in!) I definitely stood out, in retrospect. I wondered to myself what everyone was doing with their lives... college, work, kids, whatever. But I didn't feel out of place... more like the "Madonna" of the scene- been there/done that/moved on kind of thing. Plus, I can still shove a moshing fat kid across the room when the need arises.

Everyone complains about getting older, but I LOVE it. I love the increase in knowledge & experience... your brain is able to connect things that aren't possible at age 18.

Btw, am I the only person in the world who finds Mischa Barton repulsive? I'm afraid so. I guess I'm not into the freaky-doe look.
