Sunburn... yuck... both of us got it but I was the dumb one who didn't wear a hat. Luckily we have a nice large aloe plant that's been doing it's job well.

Had a fun afternoon yesterday playing tee ball with a bunch of special needs kids... amazing how joyfull they are. Amazing how advanced we are in helping geezers get a hard on and preventing acne in teens yet we still can't do anything to treat downs and autism.

I don't want to be your friend. I've never talked to you before and you look like a girl collector.
ct_cpl:
Alrighty then... I'm sorry you feel that way. While we enjoy the photography as much as any other member we aren't "girl collectors" and actually do like reading blogs, commenting on them, and conversing with other members. We won't bother you again.

Five AM and I'm wide awake despite being up for 24 hours... guess I should of not had two cups of coffee last night before driving home. Little guy has started pulling himself up to a standing position... 8 1/2 months old now and we weren't expecting that.
comixbookgurl:
Aww

Next he will be running ...keep him away from the coffee!! winkbiggrin

Been an exciting couple days around our house... the little guy decided to start crawling yesterday and cut his first tooth today! Of course... panic ensued with him becoming mobile and we quickly got gates up and finished the baby proofing.

Rain is back... it's a good thing though, going to be a very green Summer if this weather pattern continues. Took my little cousins fishing... youngest one made the only catch of the day of course.

Little guy's first experience in a pool went well, the kid took to the water like the proverbial fish. After that we attended a festival and enjoyed some live music. Rain hit today and set the stage for Spring cleaning. Looking forward to honest to goodness Summer weather one of these days.

Thanks for the advice. smile

Glad your little guy liked the pool. My kiddo was really apprehensive about swimming for quite some time.

Ah, the return of warm weather! Little guy has swimming lessons starting next weekend. Kinda surprised me that they offer them for infants but apparently they take right to the water. Odd thing is that the "family" changing room and showers for the pool are co-ed... this could be interesting.

Why do so many people think the signal lights on their vehicle are for decorative purposes? mad

Ah... good ole insomnia strikes again. At least I'll be able to wake everyone up with breakfast in bed for the wife and some yummy cereal and a bottle for the little guy.

Happy Easter!

I still can't remember a time where you could so easier connect the dots between rhetoric coming from our politicians and violence.
krisness:
Some people just never change. I've learned to accept that. But, somehow I still allow myself to become irked by their behavior. At least there are the few of us who have grown up. Be proud!biggrin

Seems like everyone we know has a flooded basement now... this monsoon has become rather tiresome.

Sigh... I know that feeling all to well also, lived in every extreme as far as enviroment go over the years. Really do enjoy the seasons here in New England but this past Winter was just abusive beyond the norm.
merlowe:
