wow. i have internet access again, but i'm not sure that's a good thing, i might kill too much time....with an axe of course. i saw a really interesting video showing some endoscopy procedures. human beings are....slimy. cool. my car is lame, and is breaking alot. one of my buddies here used to be a mechanic, so he helped me, but i don't trust truck anymore, i think i'm going to buy something else soon. the whole katrina thing is bothering me a great deal. one of the guys who i got one of my dogs from in alabama was very much underwater. if anyone reads this journal, i urge all of you to do something related to an animal shelter (especially if you are in the south) to help deal with the massive influx of displaced dogs, particularily the bully breeds, they are always the first to be put to sleep and the last to be helped (my bias showing through) and they are the best dogs on the planet. people will help the people, but everyone will talk so much about helping the people that they will forget about the thousands of dogs that will die as a result of this hurricane, for which i indirectly blame george bush, since climate change is going to demonstrate over the next few years, hurricanes with larger diameters which was essentially the problem here. cycling trends for hurricanes have a 30-40 yr shift, but the size of recent hurricanes if we were to look at some of the data, such as latitude and longitude of formation as well as diameter, that hurricanes are getting larger and forming in historically colder waters.
