Of course I would choose today to update... I have to make it difficult on myself because it is very hard to type with a thumb that is swollen up like a big red grape from a nicely infected cat bite. Well, not so much a bite I guess, more like several... she came in for a second mouthful before she started shaking her head around like a hyena trying to tear the flesh off its prey. I love it when people neglect to tell you that their cat is completely feral.
I've just been working too much since we got back from our trip. I'm finally slowing down after the holiday petsitting rush and getting back into my normal schedule. I haven't started any candle stuff yet... I've been procrastinating I think... even though I have recently decided that I will be leaving my vet job and persuing the adventure of being self-employed in an attempt to get a sustainable soy-candle business going. The whole idea of it totally freaks me out - in good and bad ways. I'm horrible with "doing the books". I hate all of the details to manage... I just want to make bazillions of candles and make bazillions of dollars. I need a business partner that loves numbers, and also preferably building things so I can have all of my custom tables and candle mold holders made cheaply,
I am also shopping for a new car! I should be able to do it in March or April. Don't get me wrong I really love my '91 Subaru Loyale Wag (that chutters and sputs and clinks and clanks) but for safety and peace of minds sake I will soon be rolling in.... hmm.... a new Outback? Or go for the warranty with a Hyundai SantaFe? Perhaps a Jetta wagon? I am drooling over the Impreza WRX sport wagon, but I'm afraid it's just too small. I can't believe I'm finally getting a new car!! It's going to be a long couple of months!
Ok... since I just ate a handful of peanut m&ms for dinner, I think I should go find something with more sustenance. Then I will elevate my thumb... doctor's orders!

lankakitten:
We just bought a Jetta sedan and love it so much. It's way fun to drive!

Mike picked out a 2002 Jetta sedan. After having a hatchback for 8 years, I really wanted a truck.
