Starting the new year with an extended workweek, but it's followed by my time getting freed up again. I may have time to go to the fireworks on island each week, and the overtime from all the extra start-of-year hours could go a long way to upgrading my digital camera (which sorely needs it).
Much as some routine is nice, having change in schedules and free time seems to encourage more energy to me.
It means I see different things, sometimes having early mornings off to take in the beach or sunrise...and other times working early to let me have nights to do whatever. All I have to do this year is somehow fit some real travel into the schedule.
And also find time to work more on graphic design projects, fixing some old cameras, and doing more painting... life's too short for one hobby.
