hmmmm- just finishing up my academic term - going crazy with all of the final projects and papers.... next week [finals week] will be a sort of catharsis - fuck it - a total catharsis... it will be like a huge sigh of rerlief..... then i can do more sketching and drawing, finishing up my 'zine, and starting new projects - basically i get my life back...... ah yes - camping and travelling and having fun - and summer - woohoo....

I don't know where you live, but what I do sometimes is to go to the art museum and just study the paintings in depth. Schiele is great for this because he was so bold with his work that you can really se the raw technique.

That and a big fan brush, because with a little water, you can work the paint for days and days. I ussually work it until it is foamy when i am trying to blend colors on paper.
