I have a lot of baritone in my voice, which served me well during my radio DJ days (in the 90s). Back in mid October I was told I have asthma (even though I've never had noticeable symptoms) and given a daily inhaler. Within 5 days it fucked up my voice (I sounded like RFK) and I quit using it. My voice still hasn't fully recovered and most of that baritone sound is gone. I am seeing my doctor in January for a diabetes checkup and we are going to discuss this. The story about how I was diagnosed with asthma is a rant for another day, but it added to my distrust of the medical field.
