I've been working in a factory for years and I've noticed something. During the summer, the temperature in the plant will reach 100 degrees or more very easily (110 is quite common). As you can imagine, we get covered in sweat and grime. As a consequence, I'm not terribly interested in spending my weekends outdoors, sweating up a storm in the summer heat. I get enough of that at work.
