I just learned that Wisconsin is one of the states that allows Naloxone (Narcan) to be sold over the counter, without a prescription. Because of the opioid crisis, they encourage family and friends of addicts or anyone that may witness an overdose to carry it. Depending on the route (how it's administered), it's $20-$40. I may drop the $20 on an injector and put it (as well at latex gloves and alcohol wipe) in my coat pocket. A CPR mask would be good too. I haven't had to CPR in 20 years, but it's happened.

I did a little more research
and found that generic Naloxone isn't out yet. The brand name is $130
(nasal spray). Pharmacy Times says the generic will be out in mid-2019
with a lower price (about $90). I was hoping to get an injector pen
version because those will easily fit in my pocket with my sunglasses. I
have to see who carries them.
