Back in late winter 2013, I was working a second job at a McDonald's. We ran out of something so they sent me to the store a block away. As I was walking through the store, someone asked if I could tell them where an item was. I said "I don't work here" and the person replied "you fucking liar." I unzipped my jacket and showed them my McD's shirt and said "I don't work here!" The asshole gave me the stink-eye and walked away. As I was in line to check out, I realized the person's confusion. The employees wear blue shirts and black pants. My McD's uniform was a blue shirt and black pants.
When I got to work, I noticed our scrap hopper was very full. It had long pieces of metal sticking straight up like it's the Iron Throne. I asked the manager to have someone empty it. After a while the forklift shows up and the guy asks "is that it?" I said "nope. It's the other one."

While I was on break at 5pm, a co-worker said he heard it was supposed to rain but he hadn't seen any rain all day. I said "we still have 7 hours until midnight."
As I was leaving Kwik Trip, I started the car and Volbeat's song Seal The Deal started playing. Some young guy says "boomers don't listen to rock" and I replied "I ain't no boomer, kid. I'm Gen x." I cranked the stereo and left.
