Saw a Marilyn Manson show last night at a small club in Jesey, with a capacity of 2500....stading room only. Very cool to see someone like him in that sort of place. I probably would not have enjoyed it all all if I was in some large stadium-type show. Nope nope....I was down near the pit with this really cute girl the whole time.
(I didn't actually go in the pit, even though I definately had the urge to. You know you're getting old when....)
Good stuff. Now that I know what the venue is like I will probably go see other shows there. Should be a suitable replacement for the old Birch Hill Night Club which was a mid-sized local club where lots of rock bands would play.
In other news.....recent studies show you should not spend so much time online reading people's pointless journals.

that sounds bad ass....i love shows in a smaller setted venue...the performance seems so much more personal hehe. I like a lot of indie/underground bands....so it's not too hard to check em out in smaller places...and then you almost always get to hang out with the afterwards...and i love that!
