So it turns out to be a really good thing that I haven't moved into my new house yet... my girls got scabies.

That said I have spent skintimate time with them in the past month, and it takes a while for it to show up. I'm ever so itchy all of a sudden.

Haha. You are me, 5 years ago. I went back to school to do another degree, upon discovering that a) Philosophy sucks, b) a BA in Philosophy will get you nowhere, c) an MA in Philosophy will destroy your soul, and d) the MA Creative Writing program I wanted to get into wouldn't let me in without a BA in English Lit. Hence my almost-finished second BA in English Lit/Creative Writing. I don't care about the diploma, but I think it's been money generally well-spent in terms of making connections and meeting people and being taken seriously as a writer... but now it's time to break down and get meself a JORB!!

I've broken my hand in two places. I am not happy. I can't move house till I'm fixed up; I have another 2 weeks of wearing a cast & then I might have to have an operation.

I quit my job today. Short stab of guilt. Followed by gushing lovely JOY.
I've said it before, but this time I mean it; No more bar work. At least not full time or in a secluded community (see how stern my resolve is).

i need to tattoo that dairy rule. i know the rule. ive been a professional drinker for a few years now. sometimes we all make mistakes. although it was at festivus. totaly excusable.

i have found that i can always wish for my friends to stay out of my private affairs, but for some reason my intimate life always seems to be of more interest than their own.

the best situation is when you have a roommate and the house slogan is "what happens at the duplex, stays at the duplex." although the best response to prying company is no response at all.
