The past twelve hours I probably have spent answering 50+ phone calls. Some good, some bad, some just completely fucked up!
Examples:
Getting to listen to The Cure play "Just Like Heaven" live at Cochella. Thank you Aly & Dags for the 2:30AM phonecall
At work today. It's amazing what people will tell you about themselves over the phone. I've come to the conclusion that their are WAY too many people out there who need mental health assessments.
The stragest call at work. Someone called today asking if I knew of a Doctor in town that speicalized in treating Transexuals. WTF?! Isn't a regular Dr. good enough?
And why the hell did the woman who took the bus to the ER needing her Methadone just take the bus to the Methadone clinic?! Why did she come to the ER first? She's already a patient there and they know her by name. They know she has missed her dosage the past 4 days and can help her out. SO WHY DOES SHE COME TO THE ER FIRST?!
I really don't understand people these days. Humans are very strange creatures indeed.
