I will start of by saying that my parents split up before i was even one year old, and i have always used my mothers last name, I even have a statutory declartion signed my a judge stating that i have changed my name.
I mention this because.
Today i went into the Westpac bank to open an account.
Only to be told that they do not recognize a NSW government Statutory Declaration as a legal document [which it is].
Because of this they don't recognize my drives licence and all my othere cards as being real proof of ID.
WHAT THE FUCK..
Just because my birth certificate has my fucking male sperm donors name on it. Whats wrong with these people, i can get a drivers licence with Cross writen on it, not to mention my othere bank didn't seem to care what my name was.
Ahhhhh.
