Neurosis- a relatively mild personality disorder typified by excessive anxiety or indecision and a degree of social or interpersonal maladjustment.

A one-time friend who I've been chatting with lately described me as neurotic. I've never thought of myself as neurotic, but in my defense I tend to think of myself how I am at work (decisive, always) when I think of how I am at all. Now that she mentions it however, neurotic is a very apt description of me. Now that I have a name for it I can go about ignoring it completely and doing nothing about it.
