Bad Camera
I like cheap cameras (mainly because I can't afford expensive ones). Images produced with cheap cameras can often be quite strange.
Yesterday I bought my third digital camera for a whopping $20. The pictures this camera produces are less distorted than my $25 digital camera, but they come out looking like paintings, especially if heavily filtered. I took some shots with a makeshift infrared filter made out of exposed color print film (just use one or two layers of the dark end of a strip of negatives) and shot some through a Roscolux filter called Congo Blue that only passes .56% of visible light. (It passes blue and a bit of red in the visible spectrum. It makes green vegitation look redish orange.)
See the peculiar results yourself:

These photos weren't manipulated with any software (other than having their file-sizes shrunk). Their strangeness is a product of a cheap camera and oddball filters.

What kind of camera is that? I like the wierd effect it produces. For $20 I might as well go pick one up. Might be more fun than my expensive one.
