When I was in primary school I was a gun at maths. Could have told you my times tables backwards. Then high school came along and all the maths I was good at was handled on a calculator. I only stopped failing senior school maths when I gave up the notion of learning anything, and just programed every formula and it's application into my calculator. I guess on some level I decided not to learn it out of spite of having worked to be good at maths before only to have it turning out to be useless, and I figured that the same thing would happen to high school maths once I finished there. While this theory turned out to be right on the money, it also appears that, out of spite, I drank away all the maths I knew in primary school. So now I just have a random number generator where the mathematical section of my brain should be.
I bring this up as my comic was approved for uni at the last minute and I suddenly had a whopping great amount of pages to plan and draw. I had nine stories of about seven pages each. I checked this with no less than three friends:
"9x7 = 45, right?"
"Yep."
"Yep."
"Yep."
For anyone who's still reading and not shaking their head, 9x7 = 63. I have a lot more redrawing to do than I thought. I need a first draft in three and a half weeks. I'll basically be chained to my keyboard and drawing desk till then. Should be great fun though.
If anyone wants to help out with photo references I currently need to find a friend who can play a heroin addicted aristocrat, a corrupt detective, a chef named chef and a snide young lady who is to an assassin what a pimp is to a prostitute (let me know if there's an actual word for that).
Peace and love.

Good luck with the comic-ing! Post a link or something if you have any online.
Will we get to read it?
I could personify your corrupt detective like nobody's business!
And I think the work you're looking for might be 'handler'...
