I finished assessment on Friday and felt as though a creative block had been forcibly removed, consequently I wrote and drew myself into a severe case of writer's cramp. By the time I'd finished colouring this portrait of Harley Quinn (based on RizzoFord) I felt as though my two little fingers would drop off if I picked up a pen again.
The fact that I'd drawn Harley Quinn was odd enough. A post or two ago I mentioned that I'd never properly drawn anyone else's characters, but around then I'd been saying I was going to do a lot of things and not really following through with any. The reference I used was image 59 from her hopefuls set, I think she might have been channelling Harley with all the black and red in the set. I don't it really has Harley's giddy energy but I'm pretty happy with it. Most of the other products of the creative splurge were nonsensical trail of thought rants with too many adjectives.
