Happy Thanksgiving!
Man oh man, I haven't updated this bad boy in a bit. Not a lot has been going on, I guess. Sassie and I are still working things out pretty well. It's almost like nothing happened (in a good way, not a bad way).
She posted some pictures a bit ago from our nice day trip to Maryland. It was nice to spend some time just with her. We bought so much vinyl from Celebrated Summer Records in Towson, MD. But my favorite find was Poison the Well's "You Come Before You" on green/white marble for $11. Best part is that only 300 were made and I've been looking for it forever! Excitement. 11 records for $105 is pretty sweet too. To see Sassie and I's collection, go here.
I've been playing video games a lot lately. Keeps me occupied while my love is working her cute butt off in retail. Don't get me wrong, I love playing anyway, it just gives me an excuse! Ha. Gears of War 2 has been getting the most attention because everyone has been playing it on my friends list. I also have been playing Portal: Still Alive, although I'm stuck on challenge chamber 7. I'm not sure what to do and I don't want to look it up because that would be spoiling it. OH! And Rock Band. Foo Fighters "The Colour and the Shape" FULL ALBUM. That's my favorite album by them and it's so good from start to finish.
Other than my Xbox, I've been playing Professor Layton and Chrono Trigger for my DS. Oh, I forgot to mention, Sassie is getting me a Wii for Christmas! Word! I can't wait to play Mario Kart!
So today will be interesting, Sassie and I have only been back together for a few weeks now but we're doing what we normally do and going to her parent's dinner at 3 and then my parent's dinner at 5. Her family I'm not worried about so much as I am my family. They like to ask stupid questions and on inappropriate/awkward subjects, so I'm sure someone will say something about the separation we had for a bit. I told them not to bring it up, but they will. If there's one thing I can't stand about them, it's that. But I guess that's pretty mild compared to what it could be, right?
Well, my kettle is screaming, so that means it's time for some oatmeal and hot chocolate!
