But this one takes the cake, in my world anyway. I was asked out by a girl at work. I've never been asked out, let alone at work. Interesting...

Yet, can I allow myself to trust this? If you know me, you know that I must answer "not yet". There's a reason I've avoided dating for the last two and a half years. Besides, it would be strange to be committed to anything again. From what I gather, I'm pretty bad at that whole "relationship" thing anyway.

It's laundry day today, which means I'm going to the sweet new laundromat by us with it's rockin' arcade chock full of classic games that cost what a game should cost; twenty five cents. The man who owns this place is a saint of the fabric cleaning industry in my eyes. If I get bored with video games in his establishment, I can turn my attention to one of 5 tv's, rock out to the well-chosen music selection, or sit comfortably on a couch and read my book. I have a feeling some of the poeple I see there regularly aren't even doing laundry.
