I think I'm getting kind of sick of being shown what I could have if I were just more athletic, or had more money, or had some talent, or was simply more attractive. There's nothing quite like being constantly reminded how inadequate you are. Maybe it hits you from advertising; you see a pair of pants you like and you know damned well that they'll never look as good on you as they do on the model. Maybe it hits you in the sporting world; damn, I wish I could run/catch/hit/jump/whatever like that guy. We worpship these arena heroes without really ever letting ourselves fully realize that we're worshiping that which we'd like to have or be. Hell, maybe it hits you when you're far-more-attractive friends are going through pictures of the latest girl they're bedding while you sit and wish not for sex, no, but just for someone to notice you instead of them, next time.
Regardless of how you catch the virus, it's funny how it always hits hardest on the weekends. Perhaps that is why (insert diety here) gave us marijuana.
Warcraft it is.
