So it has been a while since i updated. Things have happened, yes. Not all of them important. Like I started classes for my last semester here. But classes are classes. I am taking a class called "New Media in Theatre." Basically we are preparing the show that goes up in February, "The Adding Machine" by Elmer Rice. Its a pretty sweet script and we want to have VR sets and projected characters who are offsite ie at other universities. Lots of cool stuff there. The rest of the classes are bland as fuck.
But the really exciting news is that my first rehearsal for the show I am directing (Butcher: The Play) is on Tuesday. I have my cast, except for the 8 year old. We are waiting for her parents to read the script and approve. But I really hope we can cast her. She is so adorable and she would be perfect for the show. She is the symbol of happiness and innocence that is left in the broken home. And the parents know that we won't expose her to anything dark or inappropriate. We have a babysitter on our production crew just for her. So e-fingers crossed.I couldn't more proud of my cast and crew. I just have to be sure I steer the ship in the right direction. SOOOOOO NERVOUS
