So I think I had the most eventful day I've had in a long time, therefore constituting a post. I :
Saw Muse at the Aragon. The permanent damage done to my ears was well worth it. Those motherfuckers put up a great show.
Got to hang with my Main Damie Daniel and our friend Jess. We watched Independance Day and various other things, while finishing a bottle of wine.
Saw my friend Naomi, who I haven't seen in years. She's in town for Pitchfork.
Have an oppurtunity to see Polooza on the Saturday.

I would've HATED that casting.
I think Brokeback Mountain was swallowed whole by a fuckton of Oscar- and media-fueled hype, though I liked it when I finally got to see it a while back.
I dug him in that and Monster's Ball, and have little doubt that he can bring something interesting to The Dark Knight (fuck, I love that title!).
The creative team behind the last Batman movie gives me all the confidence in the world that they know what they're doing.
